It still costs the Venetian Festival upwards of $300,000, to put on its premier festival, which is why the nonprofit (501 (c)(4)) volunteer organization needs your help. If you've ever enjoyed a concert in the park, Kid's Day, the Venetian Games, the street parade, the Venetian boat parade or the spectacular fireworks displays, please contribute, so that we can continue to bring you quality entertainment and activities in the future.

Venetian fundraising is always a challenge, and 2013 is no different. The City of Charlevoix was forced to significantly reduce its financial support to the Festival, due to the City's budget shortfall. Your personal financial support is required, if Venetian is to maintain its spectacular array of activities.

So please don't look away when asked to contribute. By donating to the Festival, you can also become a noted member of the Venetian Burgee Club. Anyone who donates $100 or more becomes a member of the Club and receives a burgee pennant. The pennants are emblazoned with the Venetian logo, the current year and the level of sponsorship.

Donation Levels

• VIP level, $7,500 minimum donation with a green burgee;
• Admiral level, $3,000 minimum donation with a blue burgee;
• Captain level, $1,000 minimum donation with a red burgee;
• First Mate level, $500 minimum donation with a gold burgee;
• Crew level, $100 minimum donation with a white burgee.
